⁴⁰ On the outer ^[a]side, ^[b]as one went up to the entrance of the gate toward the north, were two tables; and on the other ^[c]side of the porch of the gate were two tables. ⁴¹ Four ^(A)tables were on each side ^[d]next to the gate; or, eight tables on which they slaughter sacrifices. ⁴² For the burnt offering there were four ^(B)tables of ^(C)cut stone, a cubit and a half long, a cubit and a half wide, and one cubit high, on which they lay the instruments with which they slaughter the ^(D)burnt offering and the sacrifice.
